Keybinds and how to change them
Every key below can be changed: Esc → Settings → Key Bindings → FiveM, look for the entries starting with "TCC PD" (or "TCC: exit vehicle", or pma-voice for the radio). Your choice is saved on your PC.
| Default key | What it does |
|---|---|
| F6 | Police menu (duty, gear, patrol, services, staff) |
| Y | Accept a call, or respond to backup / a pursuit |
| E | Talk / stop / cuff (tap or hold, depends on what is in front of you); hold next to a body for CPR |
| LSHIFT | In a car behind someone with lights on: pull them over / stop menu |
| LSHIFT + E | On foot: put down or pick up a spike strip |
| G | Scene tools (cones, barriers, flares, speed zones) |
| F7 | MDT tablet |
| HOME | Put the MDT back in the middle |
| J | Show / hide the last ID card you looked at (on a traffic stop, with the stopped vehicle's registration card underneath). A card someone hands you stays on screen until you press J or BACK (0.7.36) |
| Backspace | Close ID cards on screen (also cancels a running resupply). Command tccpd_cancelaction, rebindable (0.7.36) |
| O | Waypoint to the nearest jail |
| E (hold, while down) | Respawn early (after 10 s) |
| F | Get out of the vehicle (tap / double tap / hold, see the vehicle exit guide) |
| Left Alt | Talk on the radio (pma-voice) |
| (none) | Staff menu /pdadminmenu: bind it yourself if you are staff |
Two things on one key? Some other scripts use the same keys (for example a taser script on E, or a police
simulator on G). Rebind one of them in the menu above. Staff can run /tccpd doctor to see which keys clash.
Trunk resupply (0.6.9)
Walk to the trunk of your own police car (the one tcc_pd gave you, or the last emergency vehicle you drove this shift): - Tap E: resupply in 3-4 seconds. Ammo is restocked for the weapons in your last loadout only, up to that loadout's amounts, and your armour is topped up. - Hold E: full resupply in 6-8 seconds, plus first aid.
Stand still: moving or getting hurt cancels it. There is a short cooldown (90 s by default). Take a loadout at the station first, because the trunk only restocks the last loadout you picked. If someone is standing or lying right at the trunk, tap E still resupplies, but holding E does their action (e.g. CPR).
Backup keys (0.6.14)
| Key | What |
|---|---|
| Page Up | Request Code 3 backup right away, even while driving. AI units come if nobody else is on duty. |
| (not bound) | Panic / Code 99: bind "TCC PD: panic / Code 99 backup" yourself if you want it |
| K | Stop while on a call: request a unit to take over your stop (only while the prompt shows) |
| L | Stop while on a call: forward your original call (only while the prompt shows; also happens after 15 s) |
Both wait 15 seconds between presses. Rebind in Settings -> Key Bindings -> FiveM.
Menus while moving (0.6.14)
TCC PD menus no longer take the mouse, so you can keep walking or driving. Arrows move, Enter selects, Backspace goes back, Esc closes. While a menu is open, the arrow keys, Enter, Backspace, Esc (pause), the weapon wheel and weapon scroll, the vehicle radio and shooting don't reach the game.
Menu keys (0.6.17)
While a TCC PD menu is open you can still walk and drive. Arrow keys, Enter, Backspace and Esc go to the menu.
- Enter runs the action and the menu stays open on the same screen with updated labels. A dialog, a progress bar or the MDT hides the menu while it's up, and the menu comes back where you were when it closes.
- Backspace goes back one screen. On the main screen it closes the menu, and the next F6 opens on the main screen.
- Esc works the same as Backspace.
- F6 (pdmenu) while the menu is open closes it and remembers the screen and row. Press F6 again to reopen there. If that screen no longer exists (for example you went off duty, lost supervisor, or the stop ended), you land on the nearest screen above it. This is only remembered until the resource restarts or you relog.
- (0.6.18) If a popup or menu gets stuck, press F6 or type
/tccpd unstuck.
One menu at a time (0.7.4)
Only one TCC PD menu is ever open. Pressing the same key on the same car or person again closes it, and any other menu key (E on someone else, F6, stop key, scene tools, admin) replaces it. F6 still reopens where you left it, unless you opened a different menu while F6 was open.
Vehicle exit on a controller (tcc_vehexit 1.0.5)
F (tap / double tap / hold) is keyboard only. On a controller, Y / Triangle is the normal GTA exit. An optional, unbound "TCC: exit vehicle - gamepad" mapping gives you tap / double / hold on a button you choose.
Menu position (0.7.14)
- With the menu on the right, the Observations popup appears on the left, inside the safe zone (0.7.19).
- The ID and registration cards (J) stay on the right, inside the safe zone, whichever side the menu is on.
- Menus follow GTA Settings > Display > Safe Zone Size, and they work on ultrawide screens.
- Menu side: F6 > "Menu side", or
/tccpd menuside left|right(with no side, it toggles). The default is left, and your choice is saved on your PC. - The keys are unchanged and still rebindable in Settings > Key Bindings > FiveM.
0.7.25: The menu side (F6 > Menu side, or
/tccpd menuside) is saved per player. It is now applied again after a resource restart, so you don't need to toggle it.
| Cancel running resupply (0.7.29) | Backspace | tccpd_cancelaction (rebind in Settings > Key Bindings > FiveM) |
0.7.29: For a full trunk resupply, hold E only until the first bar completes. The resupply + first aid bar then runs by itself.
0.7.34: "No valid target." only appears when you press the stop key or use the E-menu observation with nothing valid in front of you, and at most once every 5 seconds.
Pull-over key and LSHIFT (0.7.35)
The default pull-over key is LSHIFT. That key is also sprint on foot, bike pedal, and vehicle boost in GTA, and the spike-strip modifier uses it too. Pressing it while you drive, shoot from the car or get out does nothing. "No valid target." only appears when you press it deliberately from the driver seat with nothing ahead (at most once every 5 s). If you'd rather use another key, rebind pdpullover under Settings → Key Bindings → FiveM.
Radar (wk_wars2x)
F5 opens the radar remote. Numpad 8/5 lock the front/rear antennas, Numpad 9/6 lock the front/rear plate reader, and END is the key lock. All are rebindable. See radar.md.
Sirens and lights (LVC)
Q lights · Left Alt siren · R tone/manual · Up powercall · G airhorn (hold) · E vehicle horn · -/= indicators · Backspace (hold) hazards · O LVC menu. All are FiveM key mappings ("LVC: ..."). See sirens.md.
