Using the MDT tablet
Open it with F7 (or /mdt, or F6 → MDT tablet) while on duty. Close it with Esc or F7. Drag the top bar to move
it. HOME recenters it.
- Board: active calls you can see, with the units on them. Pursuits and backup requests are listed here too. From the board you can attach to a call, join a pursuit, answer backup, or set a waypoint.
- Call details: description, units and history. You can also:
- add remarks (or type
/remark), and officers on the call get a notification; - use the Code 4 button (click twice) when the scene is secure. Units stop responding, but the call stays open. Then use Clear Scene (click twice) to end it. Admins can Clear Scene any call.
Recently finished calls are under Closed calls.
- Person lookup: search by ID (P-…) or name. You see the licence, warrants, flags, vehicles, citations, arrests
and past stops.
- Plate lookup: owner, registration, insurance, stolen flag and history.
- Records: the citations, warnings and arrests you wrote (or your department's). They fill in automatically when
you cite or book someone. You can add a short note.
- Services: request AI services and see your active jobs (cancel / send away).
- Leaderboard: XP standings.
Your server may limit records to your own department. Supervisors see the departments they supervise.
Adding charges after an arrest (0.6.11)
After a suspect is booked (jail drop-off or AI transport) you can still add charges, for example for something found on scene later: 1. Open the arrest: Person -> the suspect -> Arrests, or the call's Details -> Arrests on this call (works for closed calls too). 2. Press Add charges, tick the charges and confirm. Charges already on the arrest are not offered again.
The original arrest stays unchanged; the added charges show underneath ("Supplemental: ... - callsign") with the new total months. The call gets a remark that units still on the call see. You can add charges if you made the arrest or were attached to the call. Supervisors of the department and admins can always add them.
Call numbers (0.7.0)
New calls are numbered by date plus a daily count: 26102103 is the 3rd call on 21 Oct 2026 (Mountain time). If a day has more than 99 calls, the number simply gets longer. Calls from before 0.7.0 keep their old short number. You'll see the same number in notifications, F6, the MDT and remarks.
Records tab: Call Lookup, Calendar, limits (0.7.0)
- Call Lookup: type a call number (or an old short number) and press Look up. You can see calls of your own department; admins can see all. Details / remarks opens the full call. Supervisors of the department and admins can add or edit a note on the call (leave it empty to remove it).
- Calendar: your calls per day for the month. Prev / Next change month, Year view shows counts per month. Click a day for its calls, step with Prev day / Next day, and Back to month. Open in Call Lookup opens a call. Calls show up here once they are closed.
- My records / Department show only the latest entries (5, 10 or 25, set by admins). If admins allow it, you can pick 5 / 10 / 25 yourself above the list. Older calls: use Call Lookup or Calendar.
- The Dashboard also shows OFFICER DOWN, PAUSED / HOLDING and MY BACKLOG badges.
