CPR

On duty and on foot, hold E next to a downed person (or use F6 → Patrol → CPR on nearest body). You kneel and do compressions for 5-10 seconds. Moving away or getting knocked down stops it.

• The sooner you start, the better the odds. After about 4 minutes there is no pulse.
• If it fails you can try again after a few seconds.
• Success gives XP and a note in the call history.
• Revived suspects usually give up. Bystanders sit dazed and can be helped by EMS.

If you are the one down: you aren't respawned at once, so someone has time to give you CPR. Hold E after 10 seconds to respawn early. After a minute you respawn automatically.

Respawning on duty (0.7.0)

If you respawn while on duty, you come back at the nearest station of your department (any station if yours has none) with your loadout. Off duty you respawn as usual. A CPR revive keeps you where you are.
